We help young people gain the skills they need to shine bright

As Scouts, we help young people to do more, learn more and be more by supporting them to develop skills for life. Our young people learn to work under their own steam, see the world from another’s point of view, and think on their feet. All skills which will help them become their own person and make the world a better place.

Welcome to South Angus

Our district stretches from Muirhead to Carnoustie, and as far inland as Newbigging. We welcome everybody, whatever your race, creed, gender or background. If you’re aged 6-25, or 18+ and looking to volunteer, we’ll help you experience the everyday adventure that is Scouting.

By taking on challenges and trying new things, you’ll learn skills for life such as mucking in with a team, asking big questions, getting back up when you fall, thinking on your feet, seeing someone else’s side and so much more.

So have a look around, find out about your local group, the international experiences we offer and all the unusual activities you could try. Or, just go straight to our joining page and fill out the form to become a Scout!
